The number of African American women-owned businesses has more than tripled since 1997, making black females the fastest growing group of entrepreneurs in the U.S. Between 2007 and 2012 "according to the National Women’s Business Council's Survey of Business Owners"
Myesha reflects on how far she has come to be the best in a male dominated industry. "In the beginning, I found myself in an industry that I didn't have any African American women bail agents now there are just 2 in Bakersfield and they are both located in my office Myself Myesha and Cee Cee Butler," she said. "But, with hard work, determination and an open mind, I've been able to accomplish some wonderful things in this industry as an entrepreneur to help people during some tough times in their lives Myesha is dedicated to economically empowering and sustaining African American communities through total commitment and understanding.
Born and raised in Bakersfield, graduate of East Bakersfield High Scool.
